ABOUT

"But above all, in order to be, never try to seem."
Albert Camus
.
Some might argue that a good marketer could sell you copper as gold.
But does that pay off in the long term?
I'd rather say that a skilled marketer maximizes the identified benefits of a product or service. Marketers choose the right communication to capture attention and create or nurture a need. And I've spent the last four years working hard on those skills.

When I entered university to pursue a degree in the Science of Media and Communication, I wasn't certain I would become a marketer. I've always craved different paths within the same field of study. Sometimes, I even veered completely off the radar to reinvent myself and observe the world from a different perspective.

The Big Ben

After graduating, and for about a decade, I lived and worked in England, contributing to expensive productions in the movie, commercials and games industries, emphasizing the importance of details.Every pixel counts: it takes space for a reason. Our discerning eyes spot what doesn't feel convincing, sometimes on a subconscious level. Emotions are equally important. Body language and acting classes were also part of my package. Emotions can move mountains, and I wanted to learn to master them when needed.

The earthquake that shook Italy in 2016 was a turning point. It directly affected my family. Although far from my country, the waves reached me. They reminded me of life's brevity. And hungry for life, I realized I had given my all to the entertainment industry. I wanted to master communication on different levels, work on shorter projects and immediately measure the impact of my work.Yes. That was the plan. Instead, I rewarded myself with sabbatical time, sailing away from certainties, crossing oceans, and nearly ending up like Charles "Chuck" Noland in Cast Away. I'm not kidding. Another reminder of life's short span? Certainly.I was soon back on land, attending new courses more closely related to Marketing. I couldn't see any storms on the horizon. Marketing felt like the natural homecoming of my career. And I wish I could still reach out to my marketing professor from university. I believe she would appreciate my journey back to her field.

I may not be the ideal candidate for companies heavily reliant on AI-generated content or one-size-fits-all marketing strategies. My strengths lie more in strategic planning. A significant initial step for a skilled marketer lies in UX research. It's crucial for marketers to recognize the value of quality data. Equally important is the commitment to continuously test and refine the strategies that have been implemented for continuous return of investment.INDUSTRIES I HAVE WORKED IN:- Entertainment

From the tender age of six, I traded my crayons for brushes and embarked on a lifelong love affair with the canvas. My artistic endeavors didn't stop there. Oh no! I've dabbled in everything from DIY disasters that could rival Picasso's abstract phase to puppet-making. Sewing mishaps? Let's just say I've unintentionally created some avant-garde fashion pieces for my home. Whether I'm painting, stitching, or constructing, I'm a creative whirlwind with a knack for turning everyday materials into works of art. And usually, in a dedicated messy lab to match.

What else can I say about myself? Well, I'm quite the adventurer. I spent some time out at sea, hiking through the wilderness, or attempting to master various sports; emphasis on "attempting." Oh, and let's not forget about my spiritual side. I'm all about meditation and finding my zen. And when I'm not conquering mountains or finding my inner peace, I'm jamming out to some tunes. I even try my hand at playing music, though I must admit, I'm more passionate than proficient. And as for singing, I still belt out tunes in the shower! I mean, have you ever noticed how bathrooms have surprisingly great acoustics? It's like my own personal concert hall in there!
